DESIGNED TO MAKE AN IMPRESSION.
ROYAL SIGNS & AWNINGS · HOUSTON
A guest arriving after a long trip should be able to recognize the hotel and find the entrance without a second trip around the property. Inside, room names, floor information and directions should continue that clarity.
Royal Signs & Awnings works with Houston hospitality properties on commercial signage and related project requirements. We can discuss exterior identification, reception branding, interior sign packages and existing-sign service around the building and its operating conditions.
Our hospitality experience includes more than 300 signs, within an overall record of more than 10,000 signs across industries. Around 30 years of experience supports the conversation. Selected project locations include Royal Sonesta, Extended Stay America and Hilton Arlington, with the nature of the known work identified below.

Building letters, illuminated cabinets and dimensional metal or acrylic signs can provide the main identity. Larger or elevated applications need their own site and installation review rather than being selected from appearance alone.
Share the frontage photographs, proposed location and relevant brand standards. The hotel name should remain recognizable within the available space, including when a logo, property descriptor or other wording needs to appear with it. Fixed LED-lit signs and programmable digital displays serve different purposes and should be scoped separately.
Separate roadside identification may be useful where the building is set back or the property has more than one entrance. Monument, pylon and pole formats offer different presentations where suitable.
Review how the visitor approaches and where the driveway decision occurs. Landscaping, neighboring features and the existing sign position matter. If the enquiry involves a replacement face or rebrand, provide available records before assuming the original structure can be retained unchanged. The proposed sign and its location should form one reviewed scope.
The lobby is a natural point to confirm the hotel identity. Dimensional lettering, metal logos, acrylic signs and selected wall graphics can work with the reception desk, finishes and lighting.
A restrained identity may suit one interior while a stronger feature belongs in another. Show the complete wall and guest approach rather than a close crop. Reception branding should not obscure essential check-in information or compete with every sign around the desk. The goal is a clear focal point that belongs to the room.
Room numbers, floor information, meeting-room names and directions need an agreed naming system. A guest should not encounter one destination name on a directory and another at the door.
Provide the current room schedule and floor plans. Room identification, directional signs and accessible signage can have different specifications, so the responsible project team should confirm the applicable requirements. Materials and mounting should then follow the agreed application. A consistent family can use shared finishes and lettering without forcing every message into the same sign format.
A hotel hosting meetings may need changing event information alongside permanent room names. If digital displays, changeable panels or temporary graphics are being considered, explain the update routine and requested system scope.
Entrance awnings and canopies may also be part of the enquiry. New work, identity changes and repairs to an existing feature need separate descriptions. Awnings are not automatically signs, and an awning repair should not be presented as a new building-sign installation. Clear wording lets the property understand exactly what is being offered.

Our Hilton Arlington record concerns awning repair. This example reflects attention to an existing hospitality entrance feature; it is not a claim that we supplied new hotel identification signs at the property.

An occupied property may have guests, events, deliveries and other trades using the areas involved. Share relevant access procedures and operating restrictions before installation planning is complete.
For an identity update, list the affected exterior names, lobby branding and interior signs. For a repair request, describe the observed issue and include safe photographs. We can discuss the relevant service and preparation responsibilities so the quotation reflects the actual property, not only the sign's appearance.
YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED
